One of our favorite areas for photography in Ohio would have to be Hocking Hills. Just an hour’s drive from Columbus, this amazing park offers tons of picture-worthy views, including waterfalls, impressive rock formations, and caves. The hiking trails lead throughout the entire park, providing many opportunities for organic nature shots. If you’re looking to snag some spectacular shots, check out the park’s main attractions, including Cedar Falls, Rock House, and Old Man’s Cave. This park is a great background for any type of photography, including engagement shots and maternity shots. You truly can’t go wrong with the pristine location that is Hocking Hills. We love doing photoshoots here because the diverse area allows us to get really creative.
Another favorite outdoor location of ours is Mill Creek Park. Established in 1891 in Youngstown, Mill Creek Park has over 4,500 acres to explore! This park contains stunning gardens and greenery that really allow you to immerse yourself in pure nature. The hiking trails are great for getting some natural shots of trees and woodland, while the park itself offers many facilities that also make for great photos.
Check out their rustic cabins and pavilions for some unique areas that cannot be replicated elsewhere.
